Ahmad Bin Byat brings an exceptional breadth of vision, experience and authority to the role of Acting Chairman of Dubai Properties Group. He is Secretary General of the Executive Council of the Government of Dubai, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Holding, Executive chairman of TECOM Investments, and Chairman of Dubai Real Estate Corporation.

A graduate in IT and Management from the US, Bin Byat holds other high-ranking directorial positions, including Director General of the Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone Authority, and Chairman of the Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company. He has been instrumental in leading TECOM Investments’ strategic investments in regional and international telecom companies. Under his leadership, DPG will continue to play a key role in advancing Dubai’s horizons.

As the Group CEO of Dubai Properties Group, Khalid Al Malik is responsible for directing DPG’s strategies of delivery, growth and operations within the UAE, and works on behalf of all DPG entities to expand new business markets. He joined DPG in July 2009 having been CEO of Tatweer, a Dubai based conglomerate, with diverse portfolio interests including DUBAILAND®, Dubai Healthcare City, The Tiger Woods Dubai and Dubai Industrial City.

Prior to this, Mr Al Malik held senior government posts. As Senior Vice President Industry & Knowledge, he was responsible for the development of Dubai Industrial City and Moutamarat. As Director of Operations at the Dubai Development and Investment Authority, he spearheaded initiatives such as the Dubai Government Excellence Program and the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Committees.

Mr Alhabbai is responsible for investor management, destination management and infrastructure development at the three billion sq. ft. development. A veteran in the travel and tourism industry, he spent 14 years with Emirates Airlines in senior management positions.

Before taking up the role of CEO, Jurgen Fischer was Senior Vice President/Managing Director at Tatweer, where he looked after the leisure portfolio, including theme parks projects and Bawadi. He was formerly President of Commercial Operations with Hilton Hotels Corporation, responsible for Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, e-Commerce, Distribution and IT in Hilton’s International Division. His previous roles also included Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Disneyland Paris.

Arif Mubarak is responsible for Human Capital, Business Excellence, Procurement, Health and Safety, IT, Policy Development and Administration. Prior to that he was Group Chief Real Estate Officer responsible for all real estate developments, real estate infrastructure and planning, and all international real estate. Before joining DPG, Mr Mubarak was CEO of Bawadi LLC (Bawadi), a member of Tatweer. He also held senior management positions at DUBAILAND. In 2005-2006, he set up the Dubai Development and Investment Authority’s first overseas office in Hong Kong.

Iyad is responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and reporting, as well as the development and implementation of financial policies, systems and processes across the group. He graduated with a major in accounting and a minor in banking and finance from the Yarmouk University in Jordan, Mr. Abdalrahim also holds an MBA degree (with distinction) from the University of Wollongong in Dubai. He has served as an independent, non-executive audit committee chairman and member of Arabtec Holdings, one of the largest listed construction companies in the region based in UAE. In addition, he was the chairman of the Audit Committee of JWICO, a public listed company in Jordan.

Amjid Javaid Sheikh heads Compliance and Risk Management in Dubai Properties Group, bringing specialist expertise in the field of audit and compliance. He worked as an auditor and compliance consultant in the UK before joining Mizin, a member of Tatweer, as Head of Compliance in 2008. Here he set up an overall corporate governance structure and developed best practice policies. His career spans over 11 years of experience in the real estate and education sector, often working with government auditors.

Jayne O’Brien is responsible for all Group Marketing initiatives including Marketing Communications, Public Relations and Corporate Communications, Customer Relationship Management, Digital Marketing, Brand Design & Management, Public Affairs and Hospitality. She joined DPG from Tatweer, where she was Chief Marketing Officer. Ms O’Brien was previously Head of Global Brand and Marketing at British Airways and Chief Marketing Officer at the Regus Group, the world’s largest workplace solutions provider.

Dr Berlin is responsible for Corporate Planning, Strategy and Business Development. Before joining DPG, he worked for Tatweer Dubai as a Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Planning in the Leisure and Entertainment Parks Division, while also holding the position of Group Chief Strategy Officer of Dubai Holding (2005-2006). Previously he worked in the Dubai government as Head of Strategy with the Executive Office, leading the development of the business plan for Dubai Healthcare City.

Saeed Bushalat is the Chief Executive Officer of Salwan LLC, the leasing and selling broker under Dubai Properties Group (DPG). He is tasked with developing premium services in Property Sales, Leasing, Real Estate Advisory Services and Property Auctions. One of the first participants of DPG’s High Potential Leaders and Future Potential Leaders program, Mr Bushalat is a member of the management committee.

With over 24 years of global real estate experience, Billy Daly is a highly skilled professional who is passionate about developing shareholder value by growing companies across different products and sectors. He was previously Executive Director for a major investment banking firm in the asset management sector, where he was at the forefront of asset value creation. Prior to that he was Managing Director with Stiell Corporation, developers of mixed-use real estate projects, where he led a management buyout.
