Khalid Al Malik

Group Chief Executive Officer

Khalid Al Malik is Group CEO of Dubai Properties Group (DPG), the real estate arm of Dubai Holding. Mr Al Malik is responsible for directing the group’s business strategy and implementation across a broad portfolio. DPG is responsible for developing, managing and servicing a wide range of prominent properties, communities, districts and destinations in Dubai including Jumeirah Beach Residence, The Walk, DUBAILAND and Business Bay.

Prior to joining DPG in 2009, Mr Al Malik was CEO of the Dubai based conglomerate Tatweer where he led a diverse portfolio of development initiatives including Dubai Healthcare City, Dubai industrial City and the leisure portfolio within DUBAILAND.

Mr Al Malik also spent time as Director of Operations at the Dubai Development and Investment Authority where he was involved in initiatives to develop SME programmes as well as Dubai Mercantile Exchange.

Mr Al Malik is a board member of several prominent Dubai companies such as Empower.

Mohammed Alhabbai

Chief Executive Officer, DUBAILAND®

Mr Alhabbai is responsible for investor management, destination management and infrastructure development at the three billion sq. ft. development. A veteran in the travel and tourism industry, he has spent 14 years with Emirates Airlines in senior management positions.

Jurgen Fischer

Chief Executive Officer, Dubai Properties LLC

Before taking up the role of CEO, Jurgen Fischer was Senior Vice President/Managing Director at Tatweer, where he looked after a leisure portfolio that included theme parks projects and Bawadi. He was formerly President of Commercial Operations with Hilton Hotels Corporation, responsible for Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, e-Commerce, Distribution and IT in Hilton’s International Division. His previous roles have also included Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Disneyland Paris.

Arif Mubarak

Group Chief Operating Officer

Arif Mubarak is responsible for Human Capital, Business Excellence, Procurement, Health and Safety, IT, Policy Development and Administration. He has also served as the Group Chief Real Estate Officer responsible for all real estate developments, real estate infrastructure and planning, and all international real estate. Before joining DPG, Mr Mubarak was CEO of Bawadi LLC, a member of Tatweer. He has also held senior management positions at DUBAILAND. In 2005-2006, he set up the Dubai Development and Investment Authority’s first overseas office in Hong Kong.

Krishna Subramanian

Group Chief Financial Officer

Krishna Subramanian is Dubai Properties Group’s (DPG) Group Chief Financial Officer. In the post since March 2013, he brings over 19 years of experience to his role.

Prior to joining DPG, Mr Subramanian was employed at global real estate developer Limitless, where he had held several key roles including that of CFO. He has also served as Board Director for organisations in Vietnam, India, Singapore, and Russia.

Mr Subramanian is a Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant, and has earned accreditation as a Certified Public Accountant from the USA. During his career, he has worked with industry leaders in the Information technology, telecom and entertainment sectors in India and the Middle East, with names including Gulf DTH, Acer Computers and Wipro Ltd.

Toby Wright

Group Chief Legal Officer

Toby Wright joined DPG in October 2011 in the capacity of Acting General Counsel. He was promoted to Group Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary in February 2012 and is responsible for the legal function at DPG.

Toby brings with him over 15 years of in-house and private practice experience both in the GCC and at leading UK and US law firms based in the City of London.Prior to joining DPG, Toby held a number of leadership roles in the GCC, including General Counsel of Dubai Group.

Toby holds a bachelor’s degree in law, a postgraduate diploma from the College of Law, London, and is qualified as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales

Jayne O'Brien

Group Chief Marketing Officer

Jayne O’Brien is responsible for all Group Marketing initiatives including Marketing Communications, Public Relations and Corporate Communications, Customer Relationship Management, Digital Marketing, Brand Design & Management, Public Affairs and Hospitality. She joined DPG from Tatweer, where she was Chief Marketing Officer. Ms O’Brien was previously Head of Global Brand and Marketing at British Airways and Chief Marketing Officer at the Regus Group, the world’s largest workplace solutions provider.

Dr. Martin Berlin

Group Chief Strategy Officer

Dr. Martin Berlin is the Chief Strategy Officer of Dubai Properties Group (DPG), responsible for driving corporate strategy, business development and risk management objectives of the company.

Dr. Berlin began his professional career with Procter & Gamble in its pharmaceutical division as sales representative and steadily rose to the position of Brand Manager to manage the sales and marketing activities of a drug to treat osteoporosis. From there he moved on to McKinsey & Company and worked as a management consultant in the chemical, pharmaceutical and start up sectors in the US, Europe and Asia. In 2001, he moved to Dubai and joined The Executive Office of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and later Dubai Holding where he held different management positions in Strategy and Operations.

Dr. Berlin holds a doctorate from the University of Heidelberg in Molecular Biology. He has also studied Economics at the University of Hagen, Germany.
